to Protect It

A newly established research lab studying wildlife ecology and conservation at National Taiwan Normal University.

ABOUT THE LAB

Wildlife Conservation Lab

Department of Life Science, National Taiwan Normal University

Our lab studies wildlife ecology and conservation with a focus on understanding how animals interact with their environments — and how those interactions are changing under human pressure. We integrate field-based methods with quantitative approaches to generate science that can inform real conservation decisions.

Our work encompasses behavioral ecology, animal behavior, habitat assessment, human-wildlife interactions, and applications for management and conservation. We use a variety of contemporary methods for data collection and value meaningful collaborations. Interested in learning more, see what we’re working on.

What we’re up to

01

Wildlife ecology

Field-based studies of behavioral ecology and habitat use of multiple taxa in modified landscapes.

02

Conservation science

Applied research informing policy and management for threatened species.

03

Collaborative projects

Ongoing work with the University of Saskatchewan and regional partners.

Interested in joining the lab?

We are currently seeking motivated individuals, including postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate interns.
